A minimalist trio consisting of acoustic piano (Minoru Mukaiya), electric bass (Tetsuo Sakurai), and drums (Akira Jimbo) forms the foundation of this album. Building upon that, the trio welcomes string players from Los Angeles, creating an "organic" soundscape that marks a new chapter for Katsushika Trio. The album features 8 tracks in total, including 5 brand-new songs such as the pre-released "LUCA," and reimagined versions of "Red Express," "Majestic," and "Amanogawa." The recording and mixing were handled by Grammy-winning master engineer Don Murray, capturing the vibrant atmosphere and immediacy of the Los Angeles sessions with exceptional clarity. For mastering, the renowned Bernie Grundman was brought on board, resulting in a refined finish akin to a finely tailored suit. This album stands as the crowning achievement in the history of Katsushika Trio. A booklet with liner notes packed with behind-the-scenes stories from the recording sessions is also included.
