Description

Great Bluray transfer. Great film. Minor quibbles: a few shakey frames and pity there's no English audio. Now we know where Cameron got his idea for the floating isles in Avatar.
This is one my favorite Studio Ghibli Film :) The picture is clear and with a much clearer Audio Sound :) If you love Studio Ghibli, this is definitely one to add to your collection :)
Miyazaki's award winning masterpiece, Laputa: Castle in the Sky, is beautifully restored in this new addition to the Ghibli ga Ippai collection. Pazu is an average boy growing up in an mining town until the day a girl falls from the sky into his arms. The young girl named Sheeta embarks with Pazu on a journey to find the illusive floating city of Laputa. Danger awaits the two as pirates and the army chase down Sheeta in order to obtain the mysterious crystal she wears around her neck... This film is great! Beautifully animated and fully engaging, this movie will definitely put a smile on your face. Originally released in 1986, this Blu-ray version looks absolutely gorgeous. Restoration has removed grain and really brings out the beauty of Ghibli's hand-drawn animation. Colors are extremely vivid. The audio
