Story: In the old days, there were merchants based in Omi Province (present-day Shiga Prefecture) who traveled all over the country. They did more than just keep track of their abacus. One time they helped an injured carpenter, another time they helped a deserted teahouse, and yet another time they took on the challenge of paying off the store's huge debt.
