This is the expanded Special Edition of The Beatles' 1965 album "Rubber Soul." This release, featuring a new mix by producer Giles Martin and engineer Sam Okell, includes a new stereo mix, as well as the original mono mix and the original Capitol US album version. It also newly includes previously unreleased session recordings and home demos, plus the double A-side single "Day Tripper" / "We Can Work It Out" from that time. It comes with an 88-page hardcover book, featuring a newly written introduction by Paul McCartney, plus a foreword compiled from John Lennon's own words. This foreword gathers John Lennon's feelings about "Rubber Soul" throughout his life, including the period after the Beatles' breakup. The book also includes rare photos, detailed background information on the album, and commentary on each song. This is a 4CD box set housed in a 12 x 12 inch slipcase, with the 88-page hardcover book. Japanese edition only.
