The original album title "Capricorn" is a coined word combining Jay's zodiac sign Capricorn, the character "jie" from his name, and "magic," which he was absorbed in at the time. The reason it contains few love songs and many "healing" songs lies in its strong message to a society that had grown despondent due to the global financial crisis (the Lehman Shock) and successive natural disasters around the time of the album's release. Musically, it is a masterpiece that of course features Jay's signature fusion of R&B, hip-hop, and Chinese music, while also letting you enjoy his side as a pianist.
