[uDiscovermusic series] A new series named after the music curation site "uDiscovermusic", developed overseas and in Japan as a new standard lineup for the Universal Music international catalog. Through this series, many albums and works by artists called masterpieces are released as a place for "encounters with new music". The second and final album, released after the mega hit "Welcome to the Pleasuredome", shifted from synth dance toward pop rock. "Trevor Horn" moved to executive producer, with engineer "Stephen Lipson" producing. The first single "Rage Hard", inspired by the poem "Do not go gentle into that good night" by "Dylan Thomas", hit No. 4 in the UK. The second single "Wasteland" reached No. 19, and the third single "Watching the Wildlife" reached No. 28. The album reached No. 5 in the UK and earned a Gold disc. Though often overshadowed by the huge success of "Welcome to the Pleasuredome", this work deserves re evaluation now that the frenzy has become history. SHM CD specification. Includes liner notes, lyrics, and Japanese translation.
