The documentary film "Fuzjko Hemming Eternal Tone," about world-renowned pianist Fuzjko Hemming, who passed away at the age of 92 in April 2024, is released on Blu-ray with bonus footage! Known as the "pianist of the soul," Hemming captivated audiences worldwide with her deeply emotional and dynamic performances. Directed by Shoichiro Komatsu, who followed her for 12 years including the 2018 documentary "Fuzjko Hemming: A Pianist of Silence and Solitude," this film reveals her true self, portraying her moving performances and extraordinary life. The film includes powerful renditions such as "La Campanella," numerous classical masterpieces, rare original compositions - some shown for the first time - as well as interview footage with Hemming herself, her illustrated diaries, and testimonies from her newly revealed half-sister Eva and her actor brother Wolf. It also looks back on her turbulent life, including her separation from her Swedish father in childhood, strict training under her mother, the hardships of being stateless, poverty during her studies abroad, unforgettable love, and the loss of her hearing, all of which she overcame before gaining recognition and becoming a celebrated pianist in her 60s. Bonus footage is scheduled to include the music video "Liebestraum / Fuzjko Hemming" and footage from the premiere screening with stage greetings held on October 7, 2025 (featuring Miho Kanno and director Komatsu).
