This maybe CCR's best album , it's certainly my favorite with Willie and the Poor Boys a close second. Every song is killer , look at the track listing it's like a greatest hits collection! John Fogerty was one of the greatest American songwriters ever as well as a performer. Boy could he write and play! This album was recorded well , this SHM-CD Mini LP release sounds AMAZING. The band could jam boy, just listen to Heard it Through the Grapevine as well as Ramble Tamble. Amazing interplay between the band. CCR was no joke , easily one of the greatest American bands in the history of rock. And this release sounds fantastic....sounds beautiful! Sweet baby! Mini LP replica is a beauty done in thick cardboard stock , a nice booklet is included for your reading pleasure. Highly recommended!!!!!!

some of ccrs best tracks reside on this record like run through the jungle, looking out my back door, travellin band and up around the bend ( i was so ammused back in 1984 when hanoi rocks did a monster cover of up around the bend) this is still regarded as a classic ccr album and i feel for my ears this was the last best album the band did before they would disband 2 years later, the shm remastering is awsome and the lp replica sleeve is just great to, once again this is ccr at there best and god knows by hearing records like this what more could had become of them if the fogerty brothers had not had that awful falling out, this is a true early 70s classic and this record is right up there with the first 4.
