The second cover album by Kazukiyo Nishikiori. Now at the milestone of turning 60 in the 100th year of the Showa era, this work confronts classic songs head-on as if engraving his life and career. Centered on the blues he has long loved, he selects notable songs from Japanese rock and kayokyoku. The tracklist includes "Aoi Hitomi no Stella, 1962 Nen Natsu...," "Pukapuka," "Yome ni Konai ka," "Yokohama Honky Tonk Blues," "Taro," "Machi no Akari," "Chicago Bound," "Iyan Natta," "Tsuki no Akari," and also the completed version of "Akogare no Backflip," the only original number in this work, first released in 2025 with lyrics, composition, and vocals by himself, now enhanced with saxophone and chorus. Emotions such as "fatigue," "loneliness," and subtle affection are expressed in a way that only comes with age. Sound producer Ken Tomita joins the project, with skilled musicians including Kensuke Okuda and Tatsuya Kashima of NONA REEVES, Sankon Jr. (Ulfuls), and saxophonist Yoshihiro Tsujimoto participating. Papaya Suzuki and Keiko Hiraoka also join on chorus, building a powerful and deep sound. This work is released in conjunction with his birthday.
