Blow is a biopic on George Jung who started out dealing with pot, and subsequently became the man who single-handedly created the American cocaine trade with Colombia importing about 85 percent of all the cocaine in the U.S. It's an American "success" story about a man who simply wanted his family to make ends meet at the start, but made all the wrong choices in life and got what deserved in the end. It stars Johnny Depp as Jung and Penelope Cruz as Jung's hedonistic wife. Directed by the late Ted Demme ("The Ref," "Beautiful Girls") who was instrumental in Denis Leary's early MTV success.
