Toxic love 5

Compared to the previous Limited edition outside packaging, Toxic is on the more simplistic side. For what it doesn't have in fancy packaging it makes up for it by making the photobook your cd case. As cool as that is, you can't store this with your other GazettE albums. As a collector this is a little annoying. Outside of the packaging size the photobook is high quality. I personally like the photobook but I have heard some not like it because its a little "too high art" for them. Now for the cd, it has the right amount of songs at fourteen for an album. Personally, this was the right combination of electric power and vocals. Bonus items (poster and Tumbler): The poster from Cdjapan great quality, I just wish the poster had a close up of the group. Really the poster is mostly black space. The tumbler on the small size but hey still pretty neat. *copy and paste from my CDjapan review. LoL I thought I posted it here and not there.

Amazing Album! 5

As a Gazette fan and as an overall music lover, I found this album to be more than satisfying. It had a lot to live up to in regards the hype of the band and their popularity. Of course, there are going to be those that don't enjoy the album and if you are expecting something that sounds like NIL or DIM then you are following the wrong band. I think what really makes this album interesting is it shows how the band explores different aspects of the Rock and Roll medium as well as the band's music itself. For the Limited Edition, it is worth the money if you are a fan of photography and the more visual aspects of VK. It is certainly in high quality and the photos themselves are very beautiful.

first and foremost i am NEVER using SAL again. took 2 weeks. the wait was agonizing. The CD/DVD/BOOKLET was so~ worth the wait. oh~ the drums. only problem I had was the poster i got had a dent in it so there were marks across my poster:( well, as long as it's not on the gazemens faces but that kind of urked me. Other than that CDJapan did a wonderful job wrapping the CD/DVD/BOOKLET. awesome. and can't wait for the TOXIC OMEGA concert DVD. will be buying it on CDJAPAN^^

GazeRock will never die 5

the GazettE have done it again. While changing their sound yet again, they are able to add new elements into what is generally known as their 'gazerock' sound. TOXIC is a refreshing album release with lots of energy and interesting twists. The packaging is great. However, one may have hoped for a little bit more creativity. It's an enormous photo book with the CD and DVD in it, just like their first press release of VERWELKTES GEDICHT. NIL came in a velour packaging, and DIM came with a holographic slipcase. Compared to those 2, TOXIC doesn't feel innovative. The quality, however, doesn't fall short (especially in the photos). The DVD is also a fun watch and great to be deeper immersed into the world of TOXIC with their promotional video THE SUICIDE CIRCUS. The album is very electric, either with lots of guitar or vocal distortions. Ruki has improved his vocals and Aoi and Uruha have amped up the fancy in their guitar work. Reita and Kai do an excellent job, as always, at keeping the beat and rythym fresh. The album is never boring and manages to cover many genres, giving everyone something to listen too. Overall, the packaging was great, the photobook was full of content and quality, the album was a treat to listen to, and the DVD added more depth to the album. The 2 years of wait was definitely worth it.

I'm inTOXICated and I love it! 5

Love this album! This band never disappoints me! This is another proof of how adventurous they are when it comes to exploring different styles and trying new things. TOXIC is my addiction these days and I'm a willing victim of it's intoxicating songs and awesome sound! The packaging was amazing and the photobook was truly an eye-candy!

TOXIC is one of their best albums yet 5

I LOVE THIS ALBUM. I LOVE the packaging and the photobook. I love how the CDs are INSIDE the book. And the quality of the book is fantastic. The first-press poster is very pretty too. I love posters that have the GazettE on it...not just the usual ads. On to the songs ~ This album is very digital, as Ruki would say it. They created a whole different style, but somehow it's still recognizable as "Gazerock". I love the dubstep mix with "Infuse Into". I thought that was very cool and also hardcore. If you were expecting something like "DIM", you're not getting it.... this album's style and theme is completely different from "DIM". But it still has some very dark, deep song such as "Ruthless Deed". I love all of the songs in this album, but "My Devil on the Bed" is...very...captivating. It's a song that is hard NOT to like. It's a sexy song, a song that you can sway your hips to...like in a burlesque. The GazettE really outdone themselves this time. xD I'm not complaining though...I LOVE IT.
