Jazz pianist Junko Ohnishi pursues her own jazz aesthetic through various formations such as trios, quartets, and sextets. This latest work, released approximately four years after "Grand Voyage" in 2021, presents a solo piano collection personally selected by Junko Ohnishi. It features compositions by pianists she admires such as Geri Allen and Duke Ellington, as well as songs passed down by legendary vocalists including Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday, and was recorded in a concert hall with a total of nine tracks including medleys.
