Description

[Machine Translation] This mini-album contains 10 songs that Mitsuda provided for the blockbuster PC game "The Seventh Seal," which was released in Taiwan in September 2002. The songs in the album are sung not in Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, or English, but in a "coined language" to create a "world that is not anywhere".

Description in Japanese

Sailing to the World / ゲーム ミュージック

Very much like Chrono Cross 5

This is Mitsuda at his best. The style is very similar to Chrono Cross, sort of celtic. Violins, acoustic guitar, choir and other instruments common to Mitsuda are used beautifully together. The album is only about 36 minutes long, but every minute is pure excellence.

    Interesting 5

Really liked it. Bought it on a whim, but wasn't disappointed. The music is beautiful and reminds me of Chrono Cross but with better arrangements.

Another fine soundtrack by Y. Mitsuda 5

Beautiful melodies and arpeggios are Mitsuda's strengths, and this album proves it once again. It reminds me of his best works - like the Chrono Cross OST - and the title-song is just awesome! I haven't played the game, but one can enjoy the music even without knowing the accompanying scenes.
