If you have heard Maki Nomiya's previous work I don't believe you will be disappointed, I certainly enjoyed every track. If however you are new to her solo offerings a good introduction worth checking out is 'Miss Maki Nomiya Sings'. 'Dress Code' is a departure from Maki's other releases with a direction towards easy listening and Jazz influences. A brief period of musical madness is presented with guests Crazy Ken Band on the whimsical track Cosmic Night Run. Sadly Bridges is the only song in English, more would have been nice although understandable as the cd is primarily for the Japanese market. As with everything this pop-diva has done till now Miss Maki's clear, melodic voice can make any song presented sound incredibly beautiful. A deserved high star rating!
