Inside a gigantic maze, I continue sleeping. A dark fantasy unit centered on the vocalist Films, who performs using an original language, presents a fantastical masterpiece that fuses post-classical and electronica, evoking the feeling of wandering through a deep misty forest. Worldwide simultaneous release on April 23, 2026. The fifth album by the dark fantasy music unit Films, led by the vocalist Films who performs using an original language, has been completed. As with previous works, production is handled by the instrumental band Anoice, known for their cinematic sound, with composition by the two composers in Anoice, Takahiro Kido and Yuki Murata. In addition to the passionate piano and celesta performed by Yuki Murata, this work prominently incorporates retro instruments such as analog synthesizers and pump organ. By also treating the beautiful high-tone voice of the vocalist Films as one of the instrumental elements, the fragile and beautiful sound that symbolizes the uniqueness of Films is developed into an even more fantastical expression. This work includes signature dark fantasy music pieces of Films such as "behind your eyes" and "revolving lantern", as well as "miracle" and "two clocks", which feature dynamic rhythms by Tadashi Yoshikawa of Anoice, "moon and cat" and "sphere", which express a fantastical ambient sound by applying spatial effects to the vocals of Films, and the beautiful and simple song with piano "polka dot", reminiscent of the side project Mizu Amane of Films. This fantastical work embodies the signature style of the dark fantasy music project Films, which has also received praise from Nobuo Uematsu, composer of the "Final Fantasy" series. Like the previous Films release "at the deep end", this work is released in a limited 15 cm x 15 cm box version illustrated by the painter MATSURICA. The package includes two music credit cards printed with beautiful illustrations, a maze representing the work, and the CD. Please note that since this product is released simultaneously worldwide, shipments will begin on or after the release date.
