This is the latest form of "TOKYO SKA PUNK." AGE OF KID releases their powerful second album! Although they are a three-piece band, AGE OF KID has become one of the bands representing Japan's ska-punk scene with songwriting reminiscent of good old U.S. West Coast ska-core and ska-punk, and intense live performances, and they have completed a ten-song second album that condenses their appeal as of 2026. They continue worldwide activities, including performing at "SKAViLLE JAPAN," one of the highest-level festivals in Japan's ska scene, and carrying out a U.S. tour in 2024 that included participation in "Fest22," where top punk bands from around the world gather in the U.S. This work ranges from ska-punk numbers that are sure to inspire ska dancing and sing-alongs, such as "Where We Go," "All or Nothing," and the rhythmically catchy "No Time To Stay With Them," to fast-paced ska-core songs connected to high-speed melodic punk, such as "We're Done," "Too Late," and "Keep Your Eyes On Me." With the single-cut songs "Nothing Lasts Forever" and "17Years," the melancholic melody of "Little Morning Star," and even the dance tune "2026," with vivid new wave keyboards, excellent chorus work is scattered throughout the entire work, while its core remains steady and its wide musical range keeps it engaging until the end.
