The 1989 series was one of the last anime series Osamu Tezuka worked on, though the original manga it is based on was first published when he was a medical student. According to his wishes, the character of Leo was changed drastically from the original series in this [New] series. Here, our hero is not a super-hero with mighty powers, but a young adolescent with his own problems and questions about the world and himself. This set contains the first 28 episodes out of all 52.
