One of Osamu Tezuka's legacies was made into a feature-length theatrical movie with the score by the legendary composer/musician Isao Tomita and a topnotch vocal cast. It opened in August, 1997. It has been animated many times before but other than the theatrical version that was the re-edit of the TV series, this is the first feature-length theatrical 'Jungle Taitei (Jungle Emperor Leo).' It was animated faithfully sticking to the theme of the maestro's original creation with the theme: 'All life is created equal.' Comes with deluxe special feature(s).
