Directed by Taylor Hackford (Proof of Life), the film stars Richard Gere as a young man with attitude problem who signs up to the US Navy Officer Flight School. It features the Oscar-winning performance from Louis Gossett Jr. as Sgt. Foley who trains and evaluates the Gere character. Kudos to David Keith for his outstanding (and outstandingly underrated) performance.
