A Bossa Eletrica, a live Brazilian band from Sweden, releases this 7-inch record featuring covers of two Brazilian killer tunes edited by Ryo Ishikawa (Vinyl Dish) and MFDP (Vinyl Dish), the band that made its name known in Japan as a flagship act of raw fusion. The A-side contains the great Brazilian fusion classic "Tombo in 7/4" by Airto Moreira, the renowned percussionist who was also active in the US fusion scene with acts such as Return to Forever and Weather Report. It is also well known as the original song behind "Samba De Janeiro," which many people have likely heard at least once while watching soccer. The B-side contains the classic song "Skindo-le-le" by Viva Brasil. The cover by Alive! is well known, but their cover is also a thrilling finish based on that version. Do not miss this double-sider, edited by the two artists with DJ use in mind for a more floor-ready finish.
