ワールドワイドに活躍するボサノヴァ女性シンガー・NILOの約6年ぶりとなるオリジナルアルバム。NILOが夏の千倉 (南房総)で出会ったメンバーと共に制作。伝説のソウルバンド、ウシャコダのボーカル・藤井康一が全面プロデュースを手がけ、ジャンルを超えたクオリティの高い大人のサウンドとなっている。NIL0と藤井の共作「夏の少年」を筆頭に、「オンダラデヤンベーヤ」など藤井曲のカバー、千倉弁満載のサンバ曲、自身の作品のセルフカバー「中心部」など、新しい試みを感じられる。また、日本を代表するベーシスト・金澤英明も息子でギタリストの金澤健太とレコーディングに親子で参加。
