This is a one of hidden CITYPOP masterpiece! This is the solo debut album by Akira Inoue, a Japanese arranger/producer, created with top musicians of the time, including members from Parachute. It's a concept album themed around ten men, including real people and movie characters. The AOR arrangements are superb, reminiscent of Steely Dan. The track "Bartok no Kage" (Bartok's Shadow) on side A-1 features the groove from Steely Dan's "JOSIE" from the album "Aja." A great find for Japanese music DJs. Highly recommended!
