BP036 Small Eyeshadow Brush / Koyudo BP High Class Series Customer Reviews

I use it to apply Decorte eye glow gem. The brush is very effective. Love it. I don't know why I mush write 100 letters for the review. CDJapan, please make it easy and to the point. I have bought lots of eyeshadow brushes. I just love this one.

This is a beautiful Japanese or Chinese traditional writing brush, and it is so good as a eyeliner. Kolinsky find its value in these usage and the shape express it to the extreme. This the one I really want to buy several as back up, and even give it to the people as present who really know how to appreciate. Masterpiece, and its unique.

This is soft, smooth and easy to work with on my hooded lids. I can smoke out dark eyeshadows along my lashline very easily and quickly though I am not skillful. It's a staple for me now, and makes me want to wear a smokey eye everyday.

It is said by some that this brush is a dupe for the Shu Uemura 5R kolinsky brush. Since the BP036 costs much much less, I was excited to try it (I also own the 5R). I would say that they are similar, but not dupes. The hair quality is high, just like the 5R, and it is good for precision application of eyeshadow (I like it for a soft smudgy eyeliner look). However BP036 is slightly larger than the 5R. I have not tried it for spot application of concealer, but I'm pretty sure it will be great. Overall a great brush, I don't regret buying it since I can have a very similar brush to Shu Uemura 5R at 28% of the price :)

Probably the most intriguing brush in my purchase. I was expecting it longer and fluffier as a brush designed for the eye sockets (not likely for me to have any defined sockets as an Asian, but I bought this brush to try anyways). In fact this brush exceeds my expectation. It is soft, dense, springy and perfectly small to apply a thin defined line of eye shadow around the eye rims on the mobile lids as well as double as a soft smudging brush. It picks up the strong color and cream texture remarkably well. In fact, it is so good of the size and function that I will purchase a second one for spot concealing. Please note that the head isn't pointy. It is round and fluffy-ish after wash, but still very dense.
