Pine Squirrel hair, like Canadian Squirrel, is smooth to the touch. It is smooth at the tips and can be used for coloring. The reason why we call it " rare" is because there are not enough raw hairs of this length to make blush brushes these days. You can feel the texture on your skin when you use it. It is firm, elastic, and soft to the touch, making it a perfect cheek brush. The blending of horsehair makes it even easier to apply color. The blush color can be easily removed with the tip of the bristles for a stress-free makeup application.
