KZ-4 Cheek / Chikuhodo Homare KZ Series

This brush is a perfect size for cheek products. The kazan squirrel hairs are incomparably soft yet so effective in laying down and buffing product. The round ferrule makes the brush especially useful with round, swirling motions. Love this brush for blush and targeted brozner. And as always, CDJapan has impeccable customer service and delivery!

The hair of Kazan is so soft and yet firm to the skin, it’s always a pleasant experience to use this one. I picked this one when it was the last piece available and i have no regrets. The size is just right, not too small and yet not too big. It is just exactly the right size for the cheeks, so I reserve this for my blush application, it is especially great for those very pigmented blushes, it will apply smoothly and wonderfully.

As many others have commented the homare series Kazan squirrel brushes are very very soft and silky. If you love squirrel hair brushes such as the Chikuhodo Z series or any other high end brush you will enjoy these brushes. So far I have the k4 and k3. As someone else wrote on their review, my k4 brush shed a ridiculous amount. At least thirty hairs, if not more upon my first initial wash before use. I was concerned. It seems to have stopped shedding now but we shall see. My k3 brush did not shed at all. I look forward to adding more brushes from the series to my collection as they become available, seems like they are difficult to keep in stock.
