[Machine Translation] Legendary performer Keiji Haino and DJ/electronic instrumentalist Jun Morita have collaborated on a new album from Kamakura-based avant-garde music label Les disques d'Ailleurs. While Haino has been pursuing the origins of music for over half a century, creating "the moment music is born" with a variety of instruments and improvisation, Morita explores unknown sounds through electronics. The recording took place in 2018 and will be completed in 2024. The first track on this album is Morita's Central Asian-Central Eastern sound overlaid with Haino's improvised voice, while the remaining five tracks are Haino's solo performances (voice, guitar, harmonium, and polygonola) with Morita fleshing them out with synths and electric violins. This is not a one-shot live recording, but a finely polished recording work, and is one of the most valuable recordings in Haino's career.
