As others stated, this cd has the background music for Figure 17. The background music is great!!!! If you've seen the series you'll know to expect a great mix of relaxing music as well as music that'll get you up out of your seat. The cd is so good, I'll almost forgive the anime for what they did to two of the sweetest characters. T_T This CD doesn't have the opening or ending themes. :( From my research, I've found the opening and ending themes on The Alfee's album, Glint Beat. CDJAPAN carries it, but as of this writing, it's out of stock. You can go to the Japanese page for this cd (follow the neowing link) to listen to samples.

If you've seen the anime, you should remember well some music from it. Be it the music from the battles, or the music when they are in the fields. This album has it all, and the music is so touching some tracks always makes me cry. If you've appreciated the anime, you should get this immediately. I'm just a little bit disapointed that they didn't put the opening or ending theme. But the CD is pretty much full as it is (76 minutes running time)
The running time of this CD is about 76 minutes and 1 second. There are a good variety of musical styles on this album ranging from tranquil classical to adventurous rock. Toshihiko Takamizawa is a maestro composer! Track 22 (composed by Johann Sebastian Bach) fits in nicely with Mr. Takamizawa's compositions. This album contains all of the instrumental (non-lyrical) music I heard while watching the anime series plus more! I am very glad I bought this album! Also, the packaging of the album is nice and contains a booklet.
