Based on the book by William Goldman, Rob Reiner ("This is Spinal Tap") directed this underrated gem. Among the stellar cast, Mandy Patinkin absolutely shines as a Spanish knight named Inigo Montoya - with his immortal lines "Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." (in facing his nemesis, also brilliantly played by Christopher Guest)
