Tchaikovsky: The Nutcracker Suite For the Piano

[Machine Translation] Michael Nanasakov has been recording since 1991 using a computer and an automatic piano. There are many interesting pieces that pianists do not usually include in their repertoire. This CD is the fourteenth in a series of recordings that shed light on works that may be difficult to perform or may not be appreciated as much as the effort required to perform them. The recording by Nanasakov (computer and automatic piano) omits repeats of certain parts in order to fit the entire piece on one CD. Due to recording time limitations, the 18th track on the CD, "Gigogne and the Clowns," is an ultra-short version of only 19 seconds, but the regular version (2 minutes and 42 seconds) is available for download from the web.

ミヒャエル・ナナサコフはコンピュータと自動演奏ピアノを用いて1991年以来録音を続けている。ピアニストが通常のレパートリーとして取り上げない楽曲の中にも面白いものはたくさんある。演奏困難であるとか、あるいは演奏に至る労力ほどには評価されないかもしれない作品に光を当て、本CDが14作目になる。ナナサコフによる録音 (コンピューターと自動演奏ピアノ)は、全曲を一枚のCDに収めるために、ある部分のリピートを省略した。またCD第18曲の「ジゴーニュ小母さんと道化たち」は収録時間制限のため、わずか19秒のウルトラ・ショート・バージョンとしたが、通常バージョン (2分42秒)もwebからダウンロード出来るようにしたので、一応「全曲録音」と思って頂きたい。
