Description
A popular comic "Ojisama to Neko (A Man and His Cat)" by Umi Sakurai has been made into a movie. This is a heartwarming story about a cat who had given up on being loved and a lonely middle-aged man. The original comic is serialized in the monthly magazine "Shonen Gangan" and "Gangan pixiv." The lead role is played by Masao Kusakari. Plot: Fuyuki Kanda, a world-famous pianist, has been living a depressed life since his wife passed away. One day, he meets Fukumaru, an ugly cat that was left unsold at a pet store. Even though he is not good with animals, he is attracted to the cat at first sight and unintentionally takes him to his house. Kanda's life with Fukumaru is full of surprises, but he gradually starts to smile again...
