Tony Takitani is a cinematic equivalence of poetic caligraphy. It is lyrical and rhythmical, I admire its poetry as well as its execution. The cinematography and direction of this gem is just beautiful: the director masterly expresses Tony's melancholy and solitude through lighting, camera movement, set design, and sound with such ease and unpretentious precison.. mad respect to the director and his crew. The two lead actors are without a doubt two pillars that carries the movie. from start to end. Not only I was convinced about the characters that they play, but I just stunned by the fact they both played dual roles through out this movie. Once again..my respect to two of truely great actors of our time. I hated to see this movie end.. I hated.. That's how much I loved this flim.
