The Japanese phrase "Hanaomoi" is read "Hanaumui" in Okinawan. The album title expresses the wish that flowers will bloom somewhere, even after being devastated by sad news or painful events. Cocco's 14th album contains nine tracks in total, including the Ryukyuan traditional song "Ufudanabushi," passed down on Iheya Island in Okinawa Prefecture, where Cocco has roots; the Okinawan standards "Hana" and "Omoi"; "Kanpo nu Kue-nokosa-," which Cocco performed to high acclaim when she returned to the stage after a long absence at the Okinawa Prefecture-sponsored "Daremo Shiranai Engeikai" in December 2025; and original new songs.
