『超電磁ロボ コン・バトラーV』に始まった八手三郎原作・東映本社製作による一連のアニメ作品の掉尾を飾る巨大ロボットアニメの傑作「レザリオン」初のDVD化!! キャラクター原案に人気漫画家の居村真二を起用し、キャラクターデザインには本橋秀之、メカニックデザインには前作『光速電神アルベガス』に続いて小原髪夫、大畑晃一、ひおあきらが当たり、音楽も渡辺宙明が続投、同じくシリーズディレクターも森下孝三が継続して務めた。主人公・香取敬がプログラムした対戦ゲーム用のロボットが、物質電送実験中のアクシデントによって実体化してレザリオンが誕生。敬はそれを操縦できる唯一の人物としてシークレットフォースに組み込まれ、地球連邦軍の一員として戦火に身を投じてゆく。VOL.2には、第23話～第45話を収録。越智一裕描き下ろしジャケット。
