famは山崎19歳、孟正17歳(高2)に結成、わずか3年後に各社争奪戦の末メジャーレコード会社内レーベルからCDデビューした。メジャーからは2枚のCDをリリース、メンバーの脱退有田加入後スプリットCDをリリースするが2011年に解散した。メジャーデビューから解散までたった2年半の活動期間しかないにも関わらず若手バンドマンへの影響は凄まじく、再結成後は対バンオファーが後を絶たない。famは結成当初から3ピースメロディックバンドにも関わらず、ひとつのジャンルでは収まりきれない幅の広さを持った楽曲を持ち合わせていた。今作品も当初から持ち合わせた芯の部分は全くブレることなく新しい挑戦を恐れずさらなる進化が見られ、ポップ・パンク、エモ、オルタナから影響された間口の広い楽曲がラインナップされた。タカマサのボーカルとメロディはとにかく優しく、洗練された演奏故に曲の完成度が非常に高いのだ。解散再結成を経て年齢を重ねたことで余裕が生まれ自信に裏付けられた末のアプローチは素晴らしい。古くからのリスナーを決して裏切ることもなく、新しい表情を見せることにも成功している。famを知らない新規のリスナーにも間違いなく届くはずだ。<プロフィール>2005年、山崎聖之(Dr.Cho)、孟正(Vo.Gt)が中心となり千葉にて結成された3ピースメロディックバンド。2008年10月、TOY'S FACTORY内レーベルから1st ALBUM "the quiet before"をリリース。2009年10月、1st mini ALBUM "changes here"をリリース。2010年8月、有田竜太郎が加入して現在の3人となる。2011年3月、解散。2016年3月1日、再結成を発表。2016年9月4日、下北沢SHELTERのライブを皮切りに2曲入り会場限定CD"glare / view"をリリース。会場限定CD"glare / view"はタワーレコード渋谷店の3P3B特設コーナーで販売され100枚以上の売り上げを記録。2017年5月、アルバムレコーディングがスタート。2018年3月、アルバム完パケ。2018年6月13日(水)、2nd ALBUM "OPUS(オーパス)"をリリースする。
