Beloved by many devoted fans, Chiyoko Shimakura passed away on November 8, 2013, and 2025 marks the 13th anniversary of her death. This two-disc memorial album features 33 tracks in total, including four previously unreleased songs ("Hana no Yatsusan," "Kimimatsu Joga Shima," "Tougemichi," and "Kazahana no Machi"), hit songs such as "Jinsei Iroiro," "Tokyo Dayo Okkasan," "Karatachi Nikki," "Ai no Sazanami," and "Hosenka," as well as the rare duet "Ichinomiya Seinen Ondo," the only recording with her sister Toshiko Shimakura.
