Terry Gilliam's ("Brazil""12 Monkeys") second directorial outing is a fantastic sci-fi comedy adventure about a young boy who joins a band of dwarves who helped the "Supreme Being" create the Universe, but borrowed (i.e. stole) a map to the Universe's time holes to go treasure hunting. Its stellar cast includes Sean Connery, Ian Holm, Ralph Richardson (as the Supreme Being), David Warner (as Evil), Shelley Duvall, Katherine Helmond, and fellow Pythons John Cleese and Michael Palin. Among the dwarf actors, the late David Rappaport easily steals the show as Randall who says (after another guy says "We agreed. No leader!") "Right. So shut up and do as I say."
