Jade Warrior is an outstanding and innovative album by a group which was prepared to be really different. Whilst Jade Warrior's second and third albums are really good, it is their first one which is truly stunning. What sets it apart is the blend of Japanese themes, flute solos, progressiveness and a lack of pretentiousness unusual for the period. The best way to experience Jade Warrior is to listen to the album as a whole in one sitting and not to pick and choose tracks.

The firsts three albums of Jade Warrior are very good. Took all of the SACD when I saw them. Reccomend this to everyone who listens to that kind of music. I appreciate the first album the most.
THIS DEBUT ALBUM BY JADE WARRIOR WAS RELEASED IN THE UK IN 1971 & it is probably the best record of the 3 they did!!!!, fantastic prog with bits of flute & all thrown in, very unique sound, fantastic original mini lp replication of this has been done here and the remastering sounds amazing!!! great BELLE release only the way the great BELLE label can do things...... great bonus tracks to & great electric guitar solos...
