Mario Tennis Fever

Racket selection is the key to victory in a new tennis battle in the "Mario Tennis" series, where anyone can enjoy rallies by using a wide variety of shots. This title introduces 30 kinds of "Fever Rackets" that create various effects on the court, such as the "Ice Racket" that freezes the court and the "Shadow Racket" that creates a duplicate of the player, and the outcome depends on the combination of racket choice and which character is selected from the series' largest roster of 38 characters. Familiar classic rules without Fever Rackets are also included, while defensive actions such as slide footwork and jumping shots are added and offensive play is enhanced with improved left and right angles and front and back pacing for deeper tactical exchanges. Additional modes include a "Story Mode" where Baby Mario and friends aim to defeat monsters, a "Tournament" with commentary by a talking flower, a "Mission Tower" that challenges players with consecutive missions to reach the top floor, "Online Battles" to compete with rivals worldwide, and a "Swing Mode" that allows intuitive tennis play by using Joy-Con 2 as a racket.
