One day, Chizuru happens to save Fujiko from trouble -- and the two realize it is a fateful reunion, as they had once met as children in Yokohama. Learning of Chizuru's dream, Fujiko discovers that Olga, the mother of Ruslan, a young man living in the same apartment building, is a former ballerina from Russia, and asks her to give Chizuru lessons. Facing various obstacles as Asian women in Paris, the two set out toward their dreams -- but one day, Fujiko's guardian, her uncle, goes missing.
