Hikaru no go Vol.2

Anime show based on the highly popular manga serial from Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The hero of this action/comedy anime is Shindou Hikaru, a 6th grader who finds an old Go table in the attic with old blood stains on it. The Go table happens to harbor the spirit of an ancient Go master from Japan's Heian period (about 13 centuries back) named Sai who died because of his opponent's treachery. From that moment on, Sai co-inhabits the body of Hikaru, and this sets them out on unusual adventures that eventually change the modern day Go world itself. ("Go" is an ancient Japanese board game, originally developed in China and brought to Korea, and introduced to Japan by the Buddhist monks who visited China in the Heian period.)
