ミニアルバム2枚連続リリースの第1弾。 ジャケットのデザインカラーは、オレスカバンドのシンボルマークである"市松模様"の白黒をモチーフとし、Vol.1は「白ジャケ」仕様。今作、初めて海外&国内プロデューサーを起用。収録曲「24カラット」「Going Away」は、ノーダウト、グウェン・ステファニー、レッドホットチリペッパーズ等を手がける"Greg Collins"(グレッグ・コリンズ)を迎え、セルフプロデュース3曲を含む全6曲は、「放出」「旅」「自分」「19歳」の4つのコンセプトで作られた。前作アルバムから飛躍的に成長したオレスカバンドが聴けるパワフルな仕上がり!!
