What is "The Great Berserk Exhibition"?

Overvew

"The Great Berserk Exhibition" is a large-scale art exhibition dedicated to Berserk, the legendary dark fantasy manga created by Miura Kentaro. It showcases original artwork, manuscripts, life-sized statues, and exclusive merchandise to celebrate the legacy of the series and its creator.

The exhibition first took place in Japan and provided fans with an immersive experience, displaying Miura’s intricate artwork, and behind-the-scenes materials. Following Miura’s passing in 2021, the exhibition became an even more meaningful tribute to his artistic genius and the impact of Berserk on manga, anime, and fantasy storytelling worldwide.

My Personal Visit

4 years ago, in 2021, I personally visited the exhibition held in Tokyo.
There were several exhibits, including a life-sized statue of Zodd, Guts' Dragonslayer, Griffith's helm, and the Room of Eclipse with unsettling music (I was scared)... It was a great exhibition.

But above all, the artworks and manuscripts on display were simply amazing. Even a single page of the manga illustrated by Miura Kentaro felt like a masterpiece—highly detailed and impressive, far beyond what we see in small comics books.

(Though I can't share photos of the manuscripts because photography was prohibited, I hope you can still get a sense of the experience through pictures taken in the designated photo area.)

I didn’t have much money at the time, but I still bought some items, such as a copy of the artbook and some duplicate art prints.

While these lower-priced duplicate prints (1,650 yen, about 11 dollars as of Mar. 3, 2025) are not the same as the original works exhibited at the venue, they are still beautiful and far more striking than what we see in comics books.
Even Miura's notes and trial drawings are reproduced on the prints.

In my opinion, "THE ARTWORK OF BERSERK", the exhibition catalog, should be the first thing you put into your cart—especially for those who couldn’t visit the venue. This black and thick book contains artwork exhibited at the event, including several rare illustrations not found in the comics books.

While there's no clear announcement, this might be a very rare chance to obtain these collectibles.
According to the original site, some items are limited in quantity and may sell out before the deadline. I hope you're able to get what you want.
