This reissue has a lot of background sound and I have to put at max the higher frecuencies or contrariwise hear a lot of air noise. And it sounds like a cd 'cos the mastering is digital you can see it in the back of the cover. The voice of Daltrey is too weaker almost fadding in this copy. I've japan pressings of the 70's and the diferences are abysmal. The art and the packing is very acceptable but overall it doesn't matter. I 've to be forced to resell this item ,the same with the tubular bells. If you want this you better buy a SACD .

of all the pressings of whos next i have this one sounds about the best!!!! i have many viynl editions of whos next from different pressings from around the world and i have quite a few cd versions from around the world, i love the japan deluxe edition from 2008 best on cd, anyway this lp is for audiophile fanatics or serieous collecters of who records and 45s, im very pleased this was done in this format, to bad this could not be done as a 2 lp set so the young vic rehersals or the 1971 new york record plant show could not be added, regardless you need a really good turntable and audio sytem to get the full sound out of this masterpeice that was cut from the original analog tape, im sure this very nice lp will be around for a while but if you collect who stuff i would not wait to long to purchase this as im not sure how many where pressed, also whos next has gone down in rock n roll history as one of the best rock albums ever made and i cant agree more..............
