Mimi wo Sumaseba(Whispers of the Heart) (1995)

A young girl named Shizuku Tsukishima finds out that all the books she wants to check out from the library have been previously checked out by the boy named Seiji Amasawa... There's no big actions or fantastical elements as in most other Ghibli/Miyazaki movies, but the charm of this film is the depiction of daily life, as the scenes from convenient stores or fast food shops.
