音源の蘇生でもあり、失いかけていた感情の蘇生でもあり、"湯木慧"の蘇生でもある。16歳～18歳当時に制作し、現在は廃盤で入手困難な自主制作盤3部作に収録されていた楽曲のリメイク音源を中心に、未収録音源「ニンゲンサマ」、ボーナストラックとして、野外でレコーディングした新曲「ハートレス-路地裏録音-」を加えた全11曲の新録音源を収録。今作では、ジャンルに囚われず湯木本人が敬愛するクリエイターともコラボレーション。Yamato Kasai (from Mili)、ササノマリイ、MI8k、ピコン、佐藤洋介の5人がそれぞれアレンジャーとして参加しているが、湯木本人によるアコースティック・弾き語りアレンジ楽曲と合わせ、タイトルの「蘇生」が表すように新たな生命が宿った音源たちが凝縮された濃厚な内容となっている。
