2012年に公開された『ヱヴァンゲリヲン新劇場版:Q』から9年、本編全カットを再撮影し、高解像度の技術、新たなディティールで発売! ――アスカのEVA改2号機とマリのEVA8号機は、静止衛星軌道上で"US作戦"を実行していた。円盤状のEVA Mark.04と激戦の末、初号機とシンジを奪いとるミッションだ。ようやく目ざめたシンジの前には、思いがけない知人らの姿があった。そこは14年の歳月がたっており、ミサトやリツコら元ネルフの職員は、新たなクルーを加えて反ネルフ組織"ヴィレ"を結成していた。戦艦AAAヴンダーを起動し、襲撃してきたEVA Mark.04の群れを退けた"ヴィレ"。初号機から復活できたのはシンジひとりで、綾波レイは発見されなかった。だがEVA Mark.09がシンジ奪還のため急襲をしかけ、レイの声を聞いたシンジはヴンダーから去って、ネルフ本部へと向かった。ゲンドウからEVA13号機に乗れと指示されるシンジ。謎めいた少年・渚カヲルに導かれ、変わり果てた大地の姿を見たシンジは、何が起きたのかを聞かされる。レイを救済したことをきっかけに"ニア・サードインパクト"が起き、地球に甚大な被害を与えていたのだった。重大な責任を感じて傷ついたシンジの心は、はたして救われるのだろうか。 ブックレット封入。三方背外箱。
