『あの花』『ここさけ』長井龍雪監督 最新作。過去と現在をつなぐ、切なくてちょっと不思議な"二度目の初恋"物語。声の出演は、吉沢亮・吉岡里帆・松平健ら演技派俳優陣と、新人の若山詩音、落合福嗣・大地葉・種崎敦美ほか人気声優陣が集結。――山に囲まれた町に住む、17歳の高校二年生・相生あおい。将来の進路を決める大事な時期なのに、受験勉強もせず、暇さえあれば大好きなベースを弾いて音楽漬けの毎日。そんなあおいが心配でしょうがない姉・あかね。二人は、13年前に事故で両親を失った。当時高校三年生だったあかねは恋人との上京を断念して、地元で就職。それ以来、あおいの親代わりになり、二人きりで暮らしてきたのだ。あおいは自分を育てるために、恋愛もせず色んなことをあきらめて生きてきた姉に、負い目を感じていた。姉の人生から自由を奪ってしまったと・・・。そんなある日。町で開催される音楽祭のゲストに、大物歌手・新渡戸団吉が決定。そのバックミュージシャンとして、ある男の名前が発表された。金室慎之介。あかねのかつての恋人であり、あおいに音楽の楽しさを教えてくれた憧れの人。高校卒業後、東京に出て行ったきり音信不通になっていた慎之介が、ついに帰ってくる・・・。それを知ったあおいの前に、突然"彼"が現れた。"彼"は、しんの。高校生時代の姿のままで、過去から時間を超えてやって来た18歳の金室慎之介。思わぬ再会から、しんのへの憧れが恋へと変わっていくあおい。一方で、13年ぶりに再会を果たす、あかねと慎之介。せつなくてふしぎな四角関係・・・過去と現在をつなぐ、「二度目の初恋」が始まる。
