伊福部昭トリビュート 春の音楽祭 in Kitara / 伊福部昭
『ゴジラが北海道に上陸!?』2018年3月20日、日本有数のコンサートホールである北海道・札幌Kitara (キタラホール)にて、伊福部昭氏 (1914-2006)のトリビュートコンサートを開催。映画『ゴジラ』のテーマの作曲者であり、北海道・釧路市出身の伊福部昭氏は、戦後日本を代表する作曲家として知られているが、ラジオ・テレビの創成期の音楽作りにも深く関わり、1952年に北海道初の民間放送として開局した北海道放送 (HBC)のラジオの放送開始や放送終了を告げるコールサイン「ウポポ」や「HBCテレビ・テーマ曲」なども手掛けた。今回の演奏会では、この2曲を約60年の時を経て再現するほか、ゴジラ映画でおなじみの「SF交響ファンタジー」「ゴジラvsモスラ」「聖なる泉」を伊福部昭氏から薫陶を受けた愛弟子、帯広市出身の藤田崇文氏が指揮、演奏は札幌交響楽団、北海道出身の伊福部昭氏のため、北海道に関連するアーティストたちが集結。アンコール曲は「ゴジラ」のテーマをアレンジし"もしもゴジラが北海道に上陸したら"という設定での楽曲も披露。
