2018年9月1日と8日、放送から50年を迎える「ウルトラセブン」最終回。最後の戦いに挑むモロボシ・ダンが、相思相愛のアンヌ隊員に自らがウルトラセブンであることを告げる印象的なシーンに流れるのが、ディヌ・リパッティのピアノ、カラヤン指揮フィルハーモニア管弦楽団による、シューマンのピアノ協奏曲であることは、セブンファンなら周知のとおり。33歳で夭逝した天才リパッティ、そして鬼気迫るこの演奏は、それでなくても名演でありこれまでも幾度となく再発売されてきた。そのリパッティ生誕100年、そしてウルトラセブン放送開始50年にあたる2017-18年、アビーロードスタジオがこの企画の為におこしたDSD11.2ナチュラルによる新マスターでこの録音史上最大の再発売がたちあがる。書き下ろしスリーブケース仕様。別冊ブックレット、オリジナルブックレット封入。 初回限定盤はハイレゾダウンロードキー封入。
