PreCure All Stars Sa Ga Shite! PreCureToei Animation / KanshuBest, and Cutest, Show on Earth
A gorgeous hardcover Precure picture book intended for younger readers - text is in hiragana only. None of the images are unique to this book, but it's still a lovely item. An automatic purchase for die-hard Precure collectors, but also recommended for children who may not know about the show, but who could be intrigued by the glittery cuteness shining out from every page.

Case Closed (Detective Conan) Amuro Toru Selection: Zero no Suirigeki (Shogakukan Junior Bunko)Aoyama Gosho, Sakai SajiI love it!
I’m a big amuro fan so of course I had to get this book! It was surprising that it was actually a novel instead of a manga, considering how it wasn’t clearly stated in the description, but nevertheless I still enjoyed the read. If you’re a DC and amuro fan with decent japanese knowledge then I recommend grabbing it to practice reading jp more fluently. Oh yea there’s also furigana and it helps out a ton.

PreCure All Stars Sa Ga Shite! PreCureToei Animation / KanshuNostalgic book for all fans
Amazing high quality book with all the Precure characters from the last 20 years. Recommended to everyone that loves this franchise, to feel nostalgic while looking at the pages.

Pretty Cures All Stars Marugoto Daizukan (Picture Book) 2023 (Kodansha Mook)KodanshaPerfect Precure Character Guidebook
Nicely affordable Precure character guidebook, covering Seasons 1-20, with a page of information about each Cure, including costumes, items, mascots and selected supporting characters. Intended for children, with all text written in hiragana - no kanji. There's no acknowledgement of behind the scenes facts (no voice actors are mentioned). It's handy for beginners of Japanese. Being obsessed with anime often inspires fans to learn the language. A book like this about a beloved show is a good way to prompt further study. Having mastered this, you can graduate to the more challenging books meant for casual adult readers. I appreciate having an all-in-one guide to every character. It helps to memorise names. If they released a Precure Guide to the Periodic Table, I'd be more likely to remember it.

Minna no Nihongo Elementary Japanese Level1 Main Textbook [Second Edition]3A NetworkGood, but can be a bit overwhelming
Softbound. It also comes with a CD with 72 minutes worth of audio material. I like that the pages are cream-colored because they're easier on my eyes. The prints are clear too, I just wish that the fonts were a bit bigger. The book's paper is more on the semi-translucent side, but if you're not picky about that then this book should be okay. I also like the bright yellow map on the front and back inside cover, but I'm not sure how I'm going to protect this book now because the jacket overlaps with the map, and if I place plastic cover on it, I won't see a huge part of the map anymore. In terms of studying, all lessons are in Japanese, so you'll need knowledge in kana and maybe even basic kanji before starting with this book. Lesson 1 already has kanji in it. It can feel overwhelming if you're not familiar with kana and kanji. It would be best if you have a teacher while studying this, but doing this on your own is fine as long as you have the time to put in the hard work. I think it would be best to get the companion translation and grammar notes book if you're studying on your own though. A translation software can only get you so far when it comes to understanding the lessons.

Kanarazu Dekiru! JLPT "Dokkai" N3 1 Bun Kara Hajimeru Step up ShikiAndo Eriko, Adachi NaokoExcellent Dokkai practice
I am currently working with this book in preparation for the Jlpt test N3. I do enjoy the format of the book, it contains a warm up section and continues to guide you through several reading exercises. It is meant to be covered daily and has space for dates. It also marks the amount of time so you can start practicing for the exam times. I do recommend it for everyone trying to improve their Dokkai.

Kamen Rider Zensenshi Cho1971-2022 (TV-kun Deluxe Collector's Edition)Shogakukan50 years of Kamen rider in one book
Excellent book: lots of pictures, good quality, paper feel nice, nice presentation. It shows every Kamen Rider from the first to last, every weapons, transformations etc... It doesn't show as much as special attacks as the Kodansha edition. Btw it is all about riders, no monsters. It is an incredible guide guide for every Kamen rider fans.

Japanese Graded Readers (Level Betsu Nihongo Tadoku) Library Level 0 Vol.2NPO Corporation Nihongo Tadoku KenkyukaiExtremely helpful
The Japanese graded readers are, in my opinion, extremely useful when learning Japanese. The stories are easy to read and understand, words are repeated over and over - which helps with memorization- and the illustrations are colorful and help a lot with understanding the story(s). I also like that you get many little stories. Perfect length: not too long, not too short.

Japanese Graded Readers (Level Betsu Nihongo Tadoku) Library Level 0 Vol.1NPO Corporation Nihongo Tadoku KenkyukaiGood start into reading Japanese
At his level the booklets contain often just a list of words or contain very simplistic texts and thus are useful only for real beginners. Each pack has one CD and several small booklets, the stories are short and words at this level repeating enough to remember them. The levels are compared to JLPT exam levels, though the words still seem limited compared to what is required for the JLPT level. What I miss though is a list of words used at each level (like online). Since the booklets are short you can tick them off with a satisfactory feeling very quickly.

1500 Essential Vocabulary for the JLPT N4 [English and Vietnamese translation]Arc AcademyGreat book to brush up your vocabulary
The chapters group the vocabulary into some useful groups. In addition to each entry there is the translation, some example sentences and also additional entries provided like opposites such as good vs bad. Some pages are added explaining graphically some topics such as family or jobs. Also red card is a nice addition, once put over the page the japanese is not visible so you can train translations from English/Vietnamese into Japanese. Unfortunately not the other way round. Finally the physical format of that book is great and in the beginning the usage is well explained.
